Senior AI Engineer (Snowflake Cortex AI)

## About the project - We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to join the team and help define, build, test, and fine-tune AI agents that allow business users to ask natural-language questions about enterprise data. The solution is being developed primarily in Snowflake, but experience with other solutions would also be highly valuable. ## Your responsibilities - Define, configure, test, and continuously improve AI agents for analytical use cases - Develop agent instructions, workflows, tools, guardrails, and evaluation criteria - Build agents primarily within Snowflake, with AWS Bedrock experience considered an advantage - Integrate agents with semantic models, governed data products, and business metrics - Evaluate response accuracy, relevance, consistency, security, and business value - Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable agent capabilities - Establish documentation, testing standards, monitoring practices, and lifecycle management for agents - Apply strong SQL, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills to daily work - 5+ years of experience in data analytics, AI engineering, or related fields - Practical experience with agent configuration and GenAI-assisted analytics, building analytical solutions that allow users to ask natural-language questions about enterprise data - Proficiency in SQL and data analysis - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake Cortex, Cortex Agents, and Cortex Analyst - Understanding of Snowflake data, security, and access-control concepts - Ability to understand semantic models, business metrics, and relationships between data entities - Experience evaluating GenAI outputs and systematically identifying quality gaps - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail - Understanding of agent observability, evaluation metrics, automated testing, and cost monitoring - Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences - Proficiency in English at a B2+ level ## Optional - Knowledge of AWS Bedrock - Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, and vector search, and grounding techniques - Experience with Python, APIs, and Git - Snowflake or AWS certification - We gather like-minded people: - • Top tech minds driving innovation in AI, cloud and digital platform modernization - • Supportive team and agile, startup-like culture - • Hybrid by design mode and opportunity to work remotely within Poland - • Chance to work abroad for up to 60 days annually - • Business-driven relocation opportunities - We provide growth opportunities: - • Career development programs - • Thought leadership, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs - • Certification (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS) - • English classes - We cover it all: - • Stable pay - • Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discount - • Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers) - • Referral bonuses up to $2,000 - • Offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, coffee and more - • Corporate, social and well-being events - Please, note: - • Benefits listed above are available to employees only - • We are open for working with Contractors.
