AI-Native Software Engineer

## About the project - We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who, alongside hands-on application development, will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI infrastructure within software projects. The purpose of this role is to help development teams work with AI agents in a repeatable, controlled, and cost-efficient way—turning AI-assisted engineering into a reliable part of everyday delivery rather than an ad hoc productivity tool. ## This is how we work - agile ## Your responsibilities - Develop applications as an experienced member of the project team - Design and maintain AI infrastructure in project repositories, including agent configuration, project context, architecture guidelines, coding conventions, branch flow, constraints, custom skills, MCP integrations, hooks, and agent permission policies - Create multi-step workflows involving AI agents, including orchestration, subagents, loops, graphs, worktrees, and human-in-the-loop approval points - Assess the quality of AI-generated code and iteratively improve agent configuration based on observed outcomes - Introduce and maintain standards for working with AI across development teams as tools and project needs evolve - At least 5 years of commercial software development experience, preferably in a full-stack role, with exposure to architecture design. - Advanced knowledge of Git, practical experience with code testing, and familiarity with CI/CD processes. - Hands-on, day-to-day experience working with a coding agent in a terminal or IDE, such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, or Cursor. - Proven experience building AI infrastructure in a software project, including agent configuration, project description, architecture, conventions, constraints, custom skills, MCP integrations with tools such as Jira, GitHub, databases or documentation, hooks, agent permissions, and patterns such as orchestrator, subagents, loop, graph, and stop-gates. - Ability to identify low-quality AI-generated code and propose configuration changes that improve the quality of future outputs. ## Optional - Experience with context engineering, token usage optimization, and cost control for AI-assisted task execution. - Knowledge of agent security practices, including prompt injection prevention, sandboxing, and secrets management. - Experience evaluating custom skills and prompts, including creating or working with evals. - A public repository presenting your own configuration for working with AI agents — please include a link in your application. - German language skills will be an additional advantage. ## What we offer - Fully remote work or the possibility to work from our Warsaw office - Choice of cooperation model: employment contract (UoP) or B2B contract - Flexible working hours - Private medical care (Lux Med or PZU Zdrowie) - MyBenefit or Pyszne.pl - Self-development opportunities - Internal and external training - Certification opportunities - English/German language lessons with native speakers - International teams and projects - Choice of working environment (Mac/Linux/Windows) - The availability and terms of selected benefits may vary depending on the chosen form of cooperation. ## This is how we work on a project - code review - design patterns - DevOps - documentation ## Development opportunities we offer - development budget - external training - intracompany training - mentoring - substantive support from technological leaders - time for development of your ideas - If you see yourself thriving in this role, we encourage you to apply through our application form and become part of our team at QualityMinds! - The availability and terms of selected benefits may vary depending on the chosen form of cooperation. ## QualityMinds Sp. z o.o. - At QualityMinds, we specialize in software quality assurance, development, and DevOps services.
